September 2019 – Approval of first reserved matters residential application for Part 1 (Miller Homes)
Miller Homes is pleased to announce that its reserved matters application for new homes within Parcel 2.A in Phase 2 of the Part 1 site at Whitehouse Farm was considered by Chichester District Council’s Planning Committee on 2nd October 2019 when the Committee resolved to grant consent.
The application relates to ‘reserved matters’ (housing design, scale, layout and landscaping) for 73 new homes (including 30% affordable housing) towards the north-eastern corner of the Part 1 site and close to the approved new roundabout access off Old Broyle Access, in accordance with the overarching ‘outline’ planning permission for the wider Part 1 site.
Miller Homes would like to thank all those that provided feedback on this application, including those who attended our public exhibition in January 2019.
A separate reserved matters application, relating to residential proposals for Parcel 2.B, was submitted by Linden Homes in June and is anticipated to be determined by the Council in the near future.
A reserved matters application for the on-site sports pitches and associated pavilion, in the southern-most part of the Part 1 site, is anticipated to be submitted in the coming weeks, while further reserved matters applications for the next parcels of residential development on the Part 1 site will come forward in due course.
